Job summary

Airbus invites university students to apply for a 12.5 month placement in Filton, Bristol. You will design and conduct tests on fuel and landing gear avionics benches and support flight test analysis, collaborating across Europe in a product-focused engineering team.

The role emphasizes data analytics, lab testing, and flight test activities within the Fuel Systems Test Analysis team. Undergraduate status required for the entire placement, with a graduation date to be provided.

Qualifications

• Data analysis, report writing and presentation skills are required.
• Undergraduate status for the full duration of the placement; provide graduation date.
• Studying towards a degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Knowledge or experience of programming languages such as C, Python, TCL, Matlab or Google Apps Script.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Lab Testing: define test bench requirements and validate systems.
• Contribute to Flight Test Analysis: help define instrumentation and analyse flight data.
• Engage in Data Analytics: apply big data techniques to cross-correlate design, test and flight data.
