Job summary

A leading energy firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated individual to join their fuel handling team. Your responsibilities will include operating mobile plant equipment, receiving deliveries, and conducting light maintenance work. No formal qualifications are needed, but prior experience in agriculture or logistics is advantageous. The role offers a competitive salary between £28,000 - £33,000, along with 26 days holiday and additional benefits. Full training will be provided.

Do you have experience within agriculture, operating machinery or mobile plant, carrying out maintenance or quality control? If so, you could be who we are looking for…

Our fuel handling team of six carry out an important role at the power station, receiving straw & woodchip deliveries onto site, using an overhead gantry crane, driving mobile plant & carrying out light maintenance on basic mechanical & electrical equipment.

The role is varied & will require you to have a combination of hands-on skills, an eye for detail & most importantly, be a team player. There are no formal qualification requirements for the role & full training will be given, but those with experience on farms, in workshops & warehouses or storage & logistics would be at an advantage!

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 DOE
Contract: Permanent, 40hrs p/w (Mon-Fri)
