Job summary

GoFibre Limited is expanding its FTTP networks and seeks an experienced FTTP Install Engineer to join the field team around Perth and Dunkeld.

You’ll install and commission FTTP broadband, perform fibre blowing, splicing, termination, and testing, while delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service outdoors.

The role offers a starting salary from £30,000, a company van, a fuel card and daily travel across the Perth and Dunkeld area.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with fibre installation on FTTP networks.
• Able to work in customer-facing and network environments.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• NRSWA Accreditation.
• SA001 Certification.
• SA002 Certification.
• Experience using OTDR and fibre testing equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission FTTP broadband services.
• Fibre cabling, blowing, splicing and termination.
• Testing and fault-finding using OTDR and fibre testing equipment.
• Working on overhead and underground networks.
• Completing site surveys and installation documentation.
• Maintaining high Health & Safety standards at all times.
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience during every visit.
• Ensuring all work is completed to company and industry standards.
