Job summary

Pine Media is seeking an experienced L2C engineer to join its Service Delivery team in Sheffield. You will install overhead and underground drops from the CBT to CSP, run inside/out cables to ONT locations, and splice connections, while collaborating with the Fibre Network Delivery team.

This is a customer-facing role that requires attention to detail, punctual reporting, and adherence to safety practices. The role is full-time (Permanent) or CIS contractor, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no

Qualifications

At least two years' experience in a similar role.
Must have held a full UK driving license for at least 12 months.
Hold a valid NRSWA street works Operative unit 2 card.

Responsibilities

Adhere to BT Openreach's labelling requirements at entry and exit points, and take photographs for reports.
Primarily work on customer installations, but occasionally assist FND with overhead cabling and CBT installation.
Complete assigned installations on time and manage day-to-day jobs, flagging any issues.
Follow installation procedures, splice fibre, and test at multiple points throughout the installation.
Work individually and as part of a team to achieve targets and KPIs.
