Overview

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic team‑player to cover a 1 year fixed‑term maternity cover from 13 January 2026 by joining our busy, dynamic Maxillofacial Unit. This post covers Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as a Specialty Doctor post in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The focus of this appointment will be to maintain the delivery of an oral maxillofacial clinic and treatment clinic service. The post‑holder will join a well‑established team within the Maxillofacial Unit, where we provide a comprehensive Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Service, including Head & Neck Cancer and orthognathic surgery.

Responsibilities
  • Out‑patient OMFS clinic (new and follow‑up)
  • Out‑patient Minor Oral Surgery
  • In‑patient Emergency and Trauma Surgery on CEPOD
Qualifications

The postholder will be a qualified dentist with postgraduate experience in secondary care OMFS.
