Morgan Philips Group SA is seeking an experienced FRS Accountant for a contract role in London to lead the FRS102 revenue recognition and lease accounting work across a multi-unit group. The assignment runs 6–9 months with a daily rate of up to £700, complemented by ERP transformation work in D365.
You will build out the revenue framework, apply the five-step revenue recognition model, and engage with stakeholders to drive policy adoption and robust accounting across the group.

We need to implement the FRS 102 changes for revenue recognition and lease accounting across the group. We operate a construction and facilities management business, including projects and responsive maintenance.
Need someone to lead FRS work (build out the framework) coupled with Revenue Recognition - FRS 102 or IFRS 15
KPMG is currently supporting with the initial accounting assessment and the development of group-wide policies. However, need someone to help complete the contract assessments, including applying the five-step revenue recognition model, and to manage the wider change programme. This includes existing systems, current business processes, and future ERP systems and processes - D365 is the core ERP.
All of this needs to be completed before the end of the financial year on 31 March, which means there is a significant amount to deliver within a short timeframe.
As this is a group-wide initiative, it affects approximately nine business units, each with different contract types and performance obligations. All of them will need to change how they use their systems and adapt their ways of working. As a result, there is substantial change to manage and a large number of stakeholders to engage.
Therefore, we are looking to recruit an experienced FRS Accountant on an interim basis (6 – 9 months) to support a significant programme of work focused on revenue recognition, contract reviews, and compliance with FRS102 revenue recognition across multiple business units.
The FRS Accountant will play a critical part in ensuring robust technical accounting assessments, supporting external audit requirements and strengthening revenue accounting processes.
