Job summary

Great Places Housing Group is seeking a Housing and Wellbeing Assistant to support high quality accommodation and services for customers. You will be the first point of contact for the premises, handling enquiries via phone, email, or in person and ensuring safety and security for customers, staff and visitors.

You will support occupancy terms, collect feedback, address safeguarding concerns, perform health and safety checks, manage monies, and coordinate communal cleaning with the team.

Qualifications

• Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent.
• Evidence of IT skills.
• Experience in customer facing, front line service in busy environments.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective liaison with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance or guidance to customers and support occupancy terms.
• Encourage and record feedback, and respond to complaints and compliments.
• Promptly address safeguarding concerns per Great Places procedures.
• Maintain building security and conduct health and safety inspections; report repairs.
• Follow financial procedures and manage monies.
• Oversee communal cleaning and void cleaning with the team.
