Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking reliable Estate Services Cleaners to join our frontline team, helping to keep communal areas clean, safe and welcoming for residents. You will deliver cleaning across internal and external communal spaces, ensuring standards are met and health and safety issues are identified.

Reporting to the Estate Services Manager, you will perform practical, hands-on cleaning duties with the required tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience undertaking cleaning duties (communal or similar environments).
• Experience of working alone and as part of a small team.
• A basic understanding of health & safety and safe systems of work.
• Ability to undertake physically demanding tasks.
• Friendly, polite and professional approach when dealing with residents and visitors.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to drive company vehicles where required. Driving licence checks will be undertaken during pre-employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a consistently high quality cleaning service across internal and external communal areas.
• Identify repairs or health & safety issues and report appropriately.
