The Forward Deployed Engineer role focuses on building AI‑driven applications, collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and customers to deliver production solutions.

You will engage with major defence programs in the UK and Europe, contributing to predictive maintenance, digital targeting, and logistics operations in secure

Qualifications

• MSc or Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), or a comparable area of study.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with object‑oriented languages.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work on a cross‑functional team.
• Analytical, problem‑solving abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deploy full‑stack AI‑driven enterprise applications on the C3 AI Platform.
• Mentor junior team members and share coding standards.
• Conduct design and code reviews for quality and best practices.
• Test and enhance customer applications; troubleshoot and improve software.
• Deliver technical enablement through deep‑dives, demos, and training sessions.
• Write documentation and create technical specifications.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and gaps; propose mitigations.
• Drive product improvement with product management and engineering.
