Job summary

Proactive.IT Appointments Limited is seeking a QA Engineer with a focus on Front End testing. The role involves designing and executing tests to ensure high-quality software.

You will perform exploratory, unit, UI, and regression testing, and work with developers and designers to validate fixes and drive quality across platforms. A 2-year QA background and frontend testing experience are preferred, with ISTQB being a bonus.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in software quality assurance.
• Experience in functional testing.
• Experience in front end/design testing.
• ISTQB qualification not essential but a nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Develops, reviews, and executes comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Performs exploratory, unit, UI, regression, and release testing; conducts cross-browser and mobile device testing to ensure consistency across platforms.
• Logs, tracks, and reports defects using standard issue management systems, and collaborates with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Works closely with developers, UX designers, and project managers to review requirements, share testing insights, and validate fixes.
