Job summary

Lightning AI is seeking a Frontend Engineer to scale the UI and frontend infrastructure of our platform. You will own key features end-to-end, collaborating with engineering, product, and design to ship iterative improvements.

With 10,000+ organizations using Lightning, your work will impact how the world builds and deploys AI to production. The role is based in one of our hubs (NYC, SF, Seattle, or London) with at least two in-office days per week and occasional team offsites.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience as a Frontend Engineer in a SaaS technology company.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with engineers, product managers, and designers.

Responsibilities

• Write readable, testable React/Redux code and improve performance.
• Partner with leadership to shape UI architecture and set technical direction.
• Evaluate and document frontend architecture, tools, and processes.
• Maintain high software quality, automate delivery, and reduce technical debt.
• Mentor engineers and foster an inclusive, growth-focused environment.
