Job summary

Kinship in London is seeking a frontend engineer who cares about the web itself. You will work daily with React, building fast, accessible interfaces for Revit tools that help architects and engineers manage content and usage.

You’ll own user-facing features, balance performance with accessibility, and contribute to shared frontend libraries while collaborating with designers and Revit experts.

Qualifications

• Deep command of HTML semantics, modern CSS, and accessibility basics.
• Fluency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React in a component-based codebase.
• Progressive enhancement mindset for graceful degradation on slow networks.
• Strong browser debugging with DevTools and performance profiling.
• Several years building real web apps with complex UI/state.

Responsibilities

• Own user-facing features (advanced search, dashboards, previews) with polish.
• Choose the right tool for each problem: HTML/CSS vs React where appropriate.
• Prioritize performance and accessibility as core outcomes.
• Build and maintain shared component libraries and frontend architecture.
• Tackle complex frontend challenges: state, large datasets, responsive UI.
• Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and Revit experts.
