Job summary

Ocho in Belfast is building a brand-new frontend UI team for a cutting-edge cloud security platform. You will specialise in frontend, using React and TypeScript, with ownership from day one.

You’ll collaborate with product, design and backend engineers to deliver high-performance user interfaces, shaping API design and frontend standards across a growing feature set. Hybrid work and equity are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in frontend engineering
• Strong React and TypeScript experience
• Experience working with APIs and backend teams
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices
• Experience with WebGL or similar graphics libraries
• Background in cloud-native or security-focused products

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing frontend components from concept through to production
• Leading frontend implementation across key product features
• Contributing to architectural and technical design decisions
• Championing product quality and user experience across the platform
• Defining and collaborating on API design with backend and platform teams
• Optimising application performance, scalability and reliability
• Participating in code reviews and design reviews to maintain engineering standards
