Job summary

Too Good To Go is building a brand-new engineering hub in London, and we’re looking for foundational Frontend Software Engineers to help us kick it off. You’ll join a completely new team, build the hub from scratch, and work remotely with the rest of our global Tech organisation.

As part of the product team, you’ll define, build, and deliver features, aimed at high-quality, scalable, accessible interfaces for users and partners around the world.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in modern frontend development.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Extensive React.js knowledge and patterns.
• Experience with Redux/RTK Query and React Context.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Git.
• Comfort delivering accessible, responsive UIs.
• Experience with testing and CI (Jest, Playwright).

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve frontend applications and UI infrastructure to stay ahead of our growth.
• Develop new features for customers, partner businesses, and internal systems.
• Implement responsive, reliable, and intuitive visual elements and interactive workflows across web apps.
• Participate in your team’s agile development processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strive to deliver international top-class products with quality, performance, maintainability, and accessibility.
• Take on additional tasks outside current boundaries with team help to grow skills.
