Job summary

Ani Tech is seeking a Frontend Engineer to design and build UI for our AI agent platform in financial services. You will translate complex workflows into intuitive interfaces, contribute to design system, and ship production-ready React code.

You'll work closely with engineers and the founding team, build responsive, accessible interfaces, and help define the visual language for a new category of software in a hybrid London-based role, with equity and growth opportunities.

The Opportunity

You'll help design and build the interfaces that let financial services firms to understand, trust, and direct our AI agents. This is a rare chance to define the visual language and interaction patterns for an entirely new category of software - AI-native tools for a highly regulated industry - while working on meaningful projects with direct impact.

What You'll Do:

• Design and build UI for our AI agent platform, including dashboards, agent interaction views, and workflow monitoring
• Translate complex, data and document-heavy financial workflows into clear, intuitive interfaces
• Contribute to and evolve our design system and component library
• Prototype new concepts - from wireframes through to polished, production-ready UI
• Build responsive, accessible React and mobile interfaces
• Work closely with senior engineers and the founding team to shape product direction

What We're Looking For:

• Frontend engineering experience (internships and significant projects count!)
• A strong UI/UX design background - portfolio, personal projects, or professional work
• Skill in designing for mobile as well as desktop, with an understanding of responsive and platform-specific patterns
• Comfort with design tools (e.g. Figma) and translating design files into clean code
• An eye for typography, layout, and visual hierarchy, and a habit of sweating the details
• Familiarity with REST APIs and consuming backend services
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn

Bonus Points:

• Advanced degree or formal training in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practice
• Exposure to design systems, component libraries, or design tokens at scale
• Interest in financial technology, fintech UX, or regulated-industry product design
• Contributions to personal or open-source projects, or a public design portfolio
• Familiarity with agentic coding/working, such as Cursor/Antigravity/Claude
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence, the available models and the nuances with them
