Job summary

CloudFlare in Manchester is seeking a Frontend Developer to join an ambitious engineering team in a fast-paced, office-based environment. You’ll work on both the core product and the marketing website, with a focus on delivering high-quality UI using React and TypeScript.

You’ll collaborate with product owners and analysts in an agile setting, write tests, review code, and help shape technical direction. A minimum of two years’ frontend experience and a collaborative mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• At least two years of frontend development experience.
• Strong React (Hooks, Context) and TypeScript skills.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, Tailwind CSS and Git.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and agile delivery.
• Good communication and collaborative team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Build new features for the core product and develop the marketing website to drive lead generation.
• Investigate complex problems, plan your approach and deliver with confidence.
• Write unit tests and apply TDD/BDD and E2E testing where appropriate.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Business Analyst and stakeholders to agree technical solutions.
• Mentor other developers and evaluate new tools and technologies.
