About the Role

Sprung Studios is looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join the Engineering team in our Brighton Studio. Working alongside the project team and our co-development partners you will help to build UI systems for games. This is not a web development role – games experience essential. Sprung is a globally recognised partner for the games industry and has worked on some of the biggest games for clients such as EA, Microsoft, Bethesda, SEGA and many more.

Responsibilities

• Work with UX/UI Designers to build interfaces for games
• Work closely with co-development partners and Production to design, write, debug, and refine UI systems
• Assist in the design of UI functionality
• Implement UI design assets in-game

Qualifications

• 3+ Years of experience building websites, UI, or games using HTML, CSS & Js libraries
• Familiarity with Typescript
• Familiarity with the React.js library
• Interest in Games and Game development
• Interest in User Interfaces and User Experience
• Shareable portfolio of previous work on Games/Websites
• Degree in a related field

Desirable

• Experience using task and project management tools
• Familiarity with SCMs such as Git or Perforce
• Experience creating UI for games
• Experience using game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
