Job summary

Intelligent Resourcing Solutions Ltd seeks a Senior Frontend Developer (Node.js) to drive development and support of a customer platform in Central London. Hybrid/remote work offered with offices in Central and West London.

You will own development, work with customers to define solutions, and help manage day-to-day operations. Key tasks include coding, testing, documenting, and mentoring junior staff, while supporting presales in tenders.

Qualifications

• Experience in full SDLC of web applications and microservices.
• Development of cloud-based apps using JavaScript (Node.js), HTML, CSS.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Git and frequent software releases.
• Experience with Open Source technologies and AWS cloud.
• Experience with authentication/authorization (Keycloak) is a plus.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer (who can work on Front End using N ode. js) to join a project based in Central London, holds ACTIVE SC/DV Clearance and can join ASAP (SC Clearance is a must to start on the project). As the Senior Developer, you will work as part of a small but growing team, you will own the development and support of one of our customers' platforms. You'll work closely with customers to define and build solutions as well as manage the environment and day to day operations of the platform. Your role will include

• Design, evaluate, code, configure, test and document applications based on system and user requirements.

• Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.

• Mentor apprentices and junior members of the team

• Support our presales team in tenders and bids

• Create a culture of internal blogging and content writing

Location - Hybrid, Remote and offices based in Central and West London

Essential Skill Criteria

• Experience in full software development life cycle of web application and microservices

• Experience in development of complex cloud-based applications using the following technologies: JavaScript (Node.js), HTML, CSS, Redis, Express, Nunjucks, Postgres, Kibana, and Grafana.

• Experience of working with Mocha, Sinon, Chai, Micro services

• Experience of developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs

• Experience working on projects using open-source technology for developing applications and deploying in AWS cloud

• Experience working with GIT version control systems in frequent software release cycles

• Experience of implementing user authentication and authorisation in a web application utilising Keycloak.

• Experience of documenting low level design

• Experience working within Agile SCRUM

• Experience interacting with Postgres database
