Job summary

Octopus Energy is seeking a skilled Front-end Engineer to join the Electroverse team, blending visual craft with production-ready UI. You’ll contribute to Octopus Fleet marketing experiences, and help evolve a shared component library into a robust design system across products.

You’ll work closely with designers, PMs, and engineers, turning early Figma concepts into accessible code, ensuring UI polish and consistent design language across ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in front-end development, design engineering, or creative tech.

Responsibilities

• Concept, prototype, and build web experiences across public-facing marketing pages, landing pages, and core app UI for Octopus Fleet and Electroverse.
• Help evolve our shared component library into a true design system by building robust components and bridging the UI gap across products.
• Refine micro-interactions, motion, and visual polish within our web apps to maintain craftsmanship under tight timelines.
• Translate rough Figma sketches and prototypes into clean, accessible code.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers as the bridge between design intent and shipped code.
