Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a UI Developer to build real-time, high-availability front-end applications using React and TypeScript. The role focuses on time-critical UI delivery, robust state management, and seamless integration with backend services.

Candidates should have expertise in WebSockets, SSE, and REST APIs, with experience in Redux, SPA architectures, and test automation using Playwright/Cypress. Financial services platform experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience building real-time, time-critical UI applications for finance or trading platforms is a plus.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization and low-latency UI design.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance UI components using React and TypeScript.
• Ensure time-critical, highly available front-end systems with low latency.
• Implement robust client-side architecture including micro-frontends/Spa concepts.
• Write unit/integration tests with React Testing Library and Jest.

Job Description: UI Developer (React, TypeScript and Low-Latency)

Role Overview-

We are seeking a highly skilled UI Developer with strong expertise in building time-critical, high-availability, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the full UI development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.

Technical Skills & Expertise-

• Real-Time Communication: Strong understanding of WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE), and REST APIs
• State Management & Programming: Solid experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux) and reactive programming paradigms
• Architecture: Strong understanding of micro-frontends and Single Page Applications (SPA)
• Testing: Hands‑on experience with React Testing Library / Jest for unit and integration testing
• UI Automation (Good to Have): Exposure to frameworks like Playwright or Cypress

Desired Experience

• Experience working on financial services or trading platforms is an advantage
• Strong understanding of performance optimization and low‑latency UI applications
• Experience with highly available, mission‑critical systems.
