Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a UI Developer with expert React, TypeScript and low-latency focus to build time-critical, high-availability web applications. You will contribute across the full UI development lifecycle, from design through testing and deployment, delivering high-performance interfaces.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React and Redux, plus real-time communication via WebSockets/SSE and testing with RTL/Jest.

Job Description: UI Developer (React, TypeScript and Low-Latency)

Role Overview-

We are seeking a highly skilled UI Developer with strong expertise in building time-critical, high-availability, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the full UI development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.

Technical Skills & Expertise-

Frontend Technologies: Expert-level proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript

Real-Time Communication: Strong understanding of WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE), and REST APIs

State Management & Programming: Solid experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux) and reactive programming paradigms

Architecture: Strong understanding of micro-frontends and Single Page Applications (SPA)

Testing: Hands-on experience with React Testing Library / Jest for unit and integration testing

UI Automation (Good to Have): Exposure to frameworks like Playwright or Cypress

Desired Experience

Experience working on financial services or trading platforms is an advantage

Strong understanding of performance optimization and low-latency UI applications

Experience with highly available, mission-critical systems.
