Overview

We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team in Central London. Kimpton Fitzroy London is a 19th-century building with contemporary interiors. Our receptionists support the Front Office Manager to ensure a guest is met with a genuine welcome and that their needs are attended to throughout their stay. We believe that a stay at Kimpton Fitzroy London is a laid-back and original luxury experience that offers guests the finer things without the fuss.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests, handle check-ins/check-outs, and assist with inquiries.
  • Provide accurate information and resolve issues promptly.
  • Promote IHG One Rewards and upsell rooms and F&B outlets.
  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk and ensure smooth communication between shifts.
  • Monitor security and adhere to hotel protocols.
  • Handle guest requests, queries, and concerns, and escalate when necessary.
  • Be yourself - bringing your personality to work and be who you are.
  • Lead yourself - make decisions and provide heartfelt human connections.
  • Make it count - create personalised experiences for our guests.
Qualifications
  • Previous hotel reception experience (4- or 5-star experience preferred).
  • Strong customer service skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Familiarity with IT systems like Opera and Office 365.
  • Excellent communication skills (English required; additional languages a plus).
  • Flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays.
