The Wellington Hospital in London is seeking a Porter/Driver to join the Front of House team. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) involves assisting with portering, patient transport, logistics and security across the Wellington Campus, with shifts between 07:00 and 19:00, five days out of seven.

You will support many hospital departments, help deliver an exceptional patient experience, and play a role in safety and operational excellence.

Qualifikationen

• Physically fit, able to lift heavy items when required.
• Full UK, clean drivers license is essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• Excellent communication and customer skills.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.

We’re looking for a Porter to join our Front of House team based at The Wellington Hospital. Working within one of the UK’s leading private healthcare facilities, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to‑day running of the hospital while helping to deliver an exceptional experience for patients, visitors and colleagues.

This is a varied and hands‑on role where no two days are the same. You’ll support departments across the hospital with portering, security, patient transport and logistics duties, helping to ensure services run safely, smoothly and efficiently at all times.

As a Porter you’ll provide professional support across the hospital environment, assisting patients and visitors while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence. From supporting emergency response teams and managing waste streams, to transporting patients and assisting with deliveries across site, your work will make a real difference to the overall patient journey. You’ll become part of a collaborative and supportive team where professionalism, compassion and teamwork are valued every day.
