Job summary

Aramark at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst is seeking a motivated Wait Staff Lead to guide front-of-house during service, deliver outstanding dining experiences, and uphold the highest standards in a prestigious military setting.

You will lead a front-of-house team, train and coach colleagues, monitor cleanliness and service, and ensure food safety and allergen procedures are followed, with opportunities for development and internal promotion.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hospitality, catering, restaurant, or customer service environment
• Experience supervising or leading a team is desirable
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and support colleagues to deliver excellent service
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Professional and positive approach to work
• Ability to remain calm and effective during busy service periods
• Flexible approach to working variable shifts
• Commitment to maintaining high service standards

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting the front of house team during service
• Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers
• Supervising daily hospitality and dining room operations
• Assisting with the organisation and coordination of service to ensure efficiency and consistency
• Training, coaching, and supporting team members
• Monitoring cleanliness, presentation, and service standards across all front of house areas
• Supporting hospitality events and special functions when required
• Ensuring food safety, allergen, and health and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assisting with stock control, ordering, and inventory management where required
• Building strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
