Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Front of House Host to support onsite Management, deliver a premium guest experience and maintain a welcoming first impression for visitors and tenants.

You will manage front-of-house operations, post, couriers, access control and signing-in procedures, while collaborating with Building Management. You’ll also help enhance tenant experiences through events and communications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming Lobby: set up and maintain the reception to be warm and inviting.
  • Greet and assist Visitors: welcome visitors and be the friendly face of the building.
  • Represent the Client with care: show professionalism and knowledge when engaging with clients.
  • Collaborate with Building Management to support contractors and tasks.
  • Address issues and resolve them smoothly and efficiently.
  • Plan events and activations: organise pop-up markets, food stalls and charity drives.
  • Share site events and news on social media channels.

The Role: FoH Host

The Front of House Host plays a vital part in supporting the onsite Management team by providing a passionate and energetic ‘ gold standard ’ service, ensuring a professional and welcoming first impression for all our visitors and tenants.

Key Responsibilities include managing the front-of-house operations, which encompass handling post, couriers, contractors and visitors, along with overseeing access and signing in procedures.

Being committed to fostering a friendly and engaging environments, you will also have the chance to enhance the tenants experience, which includes managing your buildings social media presence, creating dynamic monthly site-specific newsletters and actively participating in event planning and placemaking activities. Our Hosts embody a ‘ can-do, solution first ’ approach, so collaboration and teamwork is highly important.

Core Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming Lobby: Take pride in setting up and maintaining the reception space to ensure it feels warm and inviting for Clients and Tenants.
  • Greet and assist Visitors: Welcome visitors with a smile and help them feel at home—be the friendly face of the building!
  • Represent the Client with care: Show professionalism and knowledge while representing the Client, making everyone feel valued.
  • Team up with Building Management: Collaborate with Building Management to ensure contractors are doing their best work and lend a helping hand with any extra tasks.
  • Address issues with care: Report any concerns and follow through to resolve them smoothly and efficiently.
  • Stay proactive in problem-solving: Approach challenges with a positive attitude, always looking for creative solutions.
  • Plan exciting Events & Activations: Get creative by organising fun activities like pop-up markets, food stalls, and charity drives
  • Share the buzz on social media: Keep everyone updated by posting all the latest site events, news, and activities on your building social media channel.
  • Meet our goals together: Let’s achieve our KPIs and SLAs whilst sharing feedback and ideas for improvements along the way.
  • Ensure a Gold Standard Experience: Collaborate with Security and the wider site team to make sure every tenant enjoys an exceptional service.
