Pay Rate: £43,998.50
Grade: N
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 4 On 4 Off - 2 Days (4am - 4pm) and 2 Nights (4pm to 4am)
Location: Gatwick Airport - RH6 0JW

We're seeking a XXX to play an integral role in our aviation contract, delivering a first‑class service and achieving fantastic results.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
  • Ensuring the customer's product is delivered consistently to demanding service level standards and set on time performance targets
  • Adherence to compliance both internal and external regulatory bodies
  • Maintain and promote H&S culture across the site
  • Ownership of all people related matters within the operation from thorough investigations to colleague engagement meetings
  • Ownership of day to day sickness and absence management processes
  • Support Pier leads as part of escalation response with Customer engagement and act as point of escalation to the colleague pool
  • Review, develop and maintain/improve operational processes through Continuous improvement opportunities
  • Investigate and respond to any H+S incidents and associated pack completions for review
  • Liaise with management team on safety audits and support implementation plans
  • Responsible for supporting the Shift Manager with managing the departmental / team budget specifically for overtime
  • Carry out HR functions as required ensuring compliance with all HR processes and policies including investigations and Grievance management
  • Conduct 1-2-1's for direct reports with evidence of development feedback and develop a pipeline of successors within the department

SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL
  • Be able to provide five years address history
  • Be able to provide five years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
  • To obtain a full airside ID
  • Pass a pre‑employment Drug and Alcohol test
