Front of House Manager

Salary £31,000 per annum

42 hours a week and weekends required on a rota basis

Role Purpose

To ensure smooth and efficient dining room operations while providing strong leadership and support to the catering team. This role is key to delivering exceptional guest experiences through high standards of food safety, allergen management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance: Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards; monitor allergen procedures; train staff on HACCP and food safety.
  • Customer Service: Oversee meal service, ensure a clean and well-stocked dining area, respond to guest feedback, and work with the kitchen team to minimise waste.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, train, and coach front-of-house staff; delegate tasks; monitor performance; foster a positive team culture.
  • Operations & Finance: Handle scheduling, recruitment, purchasing, and stock control; ensure cost efficiency and support sustainability initiatives.
  • Additional Duties: Deputise for the Catering Manager, contribute to centre operations, and maintain professional development.

  • Confident communicator with strong leadership and coaching skills.

  • Leadership and Management qualification (Level 3 or above).
  • Training or First Aid certification.
  • Experience in large-scale catering operations.
