The ideal candidate will design engaging, user-centred digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role requires close collaboration with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to create intuitive interfaces, improve usability, and deliver seamless end-to-end user journeys. Candidates must demonstrate strong expertise in digital design, interaction design, and front-end development principles, supported by a solid portfolio of previous work. Familiarity with modern design tools, prototyping software, and web development technologies is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop user interface designs that are visually appealing, functional, and aligned with business requirements using tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Conduct user research and analysis to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points, translating insights into effective design solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts clearly to stakeholders and development teams.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration of UX/UI designs into the product development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Implement responsive web design principles to ensure optimal performance across devices using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, SCSS, Less (style sheet language), and JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
• Perform usability testing and user acceptance testing to validate design effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain information architecture consistency and apply recognised design patterns to enhance user experience.
• Analyse data from tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Target to inform iterative improvements on digital interfaces.
• Stay current with industry trends in UX/UI design, interaction design, data visualisation, and emerging technologies such as AWS or APIs integration.
