A leading retail company in the UK is looking for a JavaScript Web Developer to enhance analytics capabilities. This role involves coding, data manipulation, and collaboration with various teams to improve data quality and user tracking. The ideal candidate has advanced knowledge in web technologies and experience with Adobe and Google Analytics implementations. This position offers a blended working pattern of office and remote work.
The Analytics Capabilities team consists of the Analytics Product Managers, Data and Business Intelligence Analysts, Software Developers and Implementation Architects. The team is responsible for defining, prioritising and delivering the self-serve analytics strategy, user behavioural data tracking and optimisation capability. The Analytics Implementation squad, where this role sits, is within this team. The squad focuses on enabling more informed and faster decisions by designing new analytics implementations and re-implementations, raising the implementation coverage across core sites alongside data quality enhancements.
This position will suit a Javascript Web Developer that would be interested in working on data manipulation and data engineering. Working with strings, numbers, arrays, structured object to structure, filter and javascript algorithms for best performance. Knowledge in Web standards and security is must have.
