reallymoving.com Ltd is seeking a Front-End Engineer to join our Technology team in a hybrid role, working 2 days a week in St Albans, UK. You will build accessible, scalable experiences for our home-moving e-commerce platforms.

We value excellence, automation and modern software practices, with a focus on React, TypeScript and Next.js. Collaborate across Product, Design, Testing and Data to deliver high-quality customer journeys.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Strong experience with React building complex web apps.
• Strong understanding of TypeScript and static typing.
• Production experience with Next.js and Vercel deployments.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and building scalable front-ends.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain responsive web applications with reusable components.
• Translate designs into intuitive customer journeys with mobile-first accessibility.
• Write clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles and participate in reviews.
• Support automated tests and robust production-ready solutions.
• Keep up to date with modern frameworks to improve performance and developer productivity.
