We’re hiring a Frontend Software Engineer to join a high-performing digital development team working on innovative services for millions of users. You’ll design, build and maintain user-facing applications that deliver seamless digital experiences.

You’ll need to be able to work from their North Bristol office twice a week.

What you’ll be doing

The Front-end Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable web applications. Collaboration on technical designs and contribution to architectural decisions are key aspects of the role. The work directly impacts the usability and performance of digital services accessed by millions.Development will focus on JavaScript and React, within an Azure Cloud environment supported by Kubernetes. Responsibilities include troubleshooting integration issues, improving internal processes, and identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience. Estimating timelines, managing technical debt, and clarifying requirements with stakeholders are also part of the role.Participation in the wider technology design community is encouraged, helping to shape engineering standards and mentor junior developers. Staying current with emerging technologies and evaluating new tools will help maintain innovation across the team.
