Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of experience working in a web development agency or in-house for a brand.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Remix is a plus.
  • Familiarity with progressive enhancement principles.

Experience

We’re looking for someone who has :

  • 2‑3+ years of experience working in a web development agency or in‑house for a brand
  • Experience developing Shopify themes
  • Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript
  • Ability to write well‑structured, semantic, and accessible HTML
  • Confidence writing framework‑agnostic, performance‑focused JavaScript
  • Awareness of WCAG accessibility guidelines
  • Solid understanding of front‑end performance best practices
  • Strong attention to detail when building polished, complex interactions
  • A positive, problem‑solving mindset and broad technical curiosity
  • Experience with modern web tooling (transpilers, linters, build and CI tools, etc.)
  • Experience with Git and ability to collaborate in a dev team
  • Awareness of modern and emerging browser APIs
  • Familiarity with progressive enhancement principles
Nice to have

Not essential, but any of these would be a bonus :

  • Experience with a front‑end / full‑stack framework like React or Remix
  • Experience with a back‑end language, framework, or backend platform like Supabase
  • Experience setting up or running A / B tests
  • Experience building with a headless CMS
  • Previous agency experience, delivering websites for multiple clients
  • Deep knowledge in one or more areas such as animation, performance, or accessibility
