Front End Developer – Home-Based (within the UK)
Our client transforms lives by providing practical, emotional and financial support to those experiencing poverty, disadvantage and social isolation.
They are now looking for a Front End Developer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.
This is the ideal role for a Software Engineer with front-end experience gained with web applications, JavaScript or TypeScript and modern React to advance their career in a meaningful way with our client’s leading, vital charity.

As a Front End Developer, you will focus on creating exceptional user experiences across our client’s digital estate.
Building web applications for staff and service users, you will seek to elevate performance to better support users and enable teams to provide services that support hundreds of thousands of people across the UK.
Specifically, you will create applications that are feature-rich and easy to use and understand, incorporating responsive user interfaces using React/Next.js. You’ll use TypeScript and Tailwind CSS coupled with organisational branding for style, and insights from user analytics and behaviour tracking tools to ensure our client is meeting expectations.
Additionally, you’ll implement automated UI testing to ensure everything works as it should and delivers the performance they require to meet their obligations.
