The Role

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Front-End Developer to join our growing data and analytics team. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering user-friendly, high-impact dashboards and reporting solutions that support insight-driven decision making across the organisation.

This role will suit someone who combines a strong technical foundation with a keen eye for design and usability. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from commercial, finance, operations, and supply chain to turn data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
Dashboard Development & Visualisation
  • Design and build interactive Power BI dashboards and paginated reports
  • Translate complex business requirements into intuitive data visualisations
  • Optimise report performance and user experience across platforms
Data Integration & Modelling
  • Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (e.g., Azure Data Lake, SQL, APIs, Excel)
  • Work with data engineers to build robust semantic models
  • Apply governance and row-level security as required
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Gather reporting requirements and present insights to non-technical users
  • Provide support and training to enhance self-serve capability
  • Promote best practice use of Power BI tools across the business
Visual & UX Standards
  • Help establish and maintain visual standards and Power BI design guidelines
  • Apply UX and accessibility principles to layout, navigation, and usability
  • Maintain documentation and ensure version control of reports and dashboards
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
  • 3+ years’ experience delivering BI solutions using Power BI
  • Strong DAX and Power Query (M) skills
  • Experienced in building and managing semantic models (star/snowflake schema)
  • Ability to connect to cloud and on-prem data sources
  • Confident communicating technical insights to non-technical stakeholders
Desirable
  • Familiarity with Azure tools (e.g., Synapse, Data Factory, SQL, ADLS)
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or retail environments
  • Power BI Service expertise (Workspaces, Deployment Pipelines)
Education & Certifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Power BI certification (e.g., PL-300) preferred
