Job summary

Birmingham Children's Trust is recruiting a Referral and Advice Officer to support the fast-paced front door for safeguarding and Early Help in Birmingham. The role involves answering calls and emails, processing requests, and supporting Social Work and Early Help teams while maintaining sensitive records.

The position is hybrid based in Birmingham, with essential background checks as part of onboarding and no sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• Experience working in children’s social care, Family support or Early Help is required.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail for handling sensitive records.

Responsibilities

• Staff the telephone service for the front door.
• Process information requests and support Social Work and Early Help functions.
• Maintain accurate data inputs on our systems and databases.
• Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders and customers.
