Booker is seeking an experienced Butchery Manager to run the department with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and business growth. The role requires strong meat product knowledge, leadership, and a readiness to receive full butchery training.
The position is full-time (38 hours per week) with a rotating weekend pattern (1 in 3 weekends). You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales and profitability while maintaining high standards across stock, safety, and service.

This role is known internally as a Butchery Manager, we are open to exploring Fresh Food Managers keen to learn the Butchery trade. Full Butchery training will be provided.
We are looking for experienced managers to run our Butchery Departments like their own business. This is an exciting role where you will work with customers to develop their business, understand your local market and provide them with great service.
This role gives you the flexibility to run a butchery business without the financial risk. We want someone who has good product knowledge of all meat proteins, who is self‑motivated with a desire to succeed.
