KS3/4 French Specialist - Lancashire - OUTSTANDING SCHOOL

One term, from September 2025, potential to extend.

Prospero Teaching is looking for a French teacher for an Outstanding school in Bury. You will be responsible for teaching French to KS4 and some lower school Spanish. This timetable would be suitable for an ECT looking for support with their Induction terms, or a more experienced colleague looking for a long- term supply booking, in an truly outstanding setting.

Our school is easily accessible by road (M60, M61, M66, A666), so this position is ideal for colleagues based in Greater Manchester, Lancashire or West Yorkshire. Metrolink services are just a ten minute walk from our school.

Attitudes to education are impeccable and family support is in abundance.

The position is open to NQT's/ECT's and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• French Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher
• UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
