Elementa Support Services is delighted to partner with a reputable academy-based education provider in Kingswood, South Gloucestershire, to source a dedicated French Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and enthusiastic educator to join a vibrant academy, committed to providing outstanding learning experiences for its students.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced French Teacher (QTS or QTLS) to deliver engaging and stimulating language lessons within a supportive primary environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching French, with the ability to inspire students and foster a love of language learning. The role is on a contractual basis, contributing to a dynamic team dedicated to educational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality French lessons tailored to the primary age group.
  • Plan and assess lesson content to meet curriculum standards and pupils individual needs.
  • Promote a positive learning environment that encourages growth, curiosity, and enthusiasm for languages.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and support colleagues to maintain a cohesive and supportive school ethos.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to help stimulate improvement.
Ideal Candidate
  • Hold a recognised QTS or QTLS teaching qualification.
  • Possess prior experience teaching French in a primary school setting.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Be adaptable and proactive in contributing to the overall success of the school.
  • Have high standards of behaviour management and classroom practice.
Contract & recruitment information

Elementa is the recruiting partner therefore applicants being considered for the role after pre-screening will be required to complete the registration process for Elementa. This includes full vetting & background checks and application for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure (which may be chargeable @£64.20) unless you have a current Enhanced DBS subscribed to the update service.
