Job summary

GSL Education - Leicester is seeking a qualified French Teacher (QTS) to join a well-respected secondary school in Leicester for the new academic year. The role involves delivering engaging French lessons to KS3 and KS4, with a focus on student progress and high expectations.

You will hold UK QTS, bring strong subject knowledge in French, and demonstrate excellent classroom management. DBS via Update Service is preferred or willingness to apply through GSL Education.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Be a subject specialist in French, capable of delivering high-quality lessons.
• Have strong classroom management and the ability to motivate and engage students.
• Be committed to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting high expectations.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education).

Responsibilities

Pay: £162.31 – £251.72 per day (M1–UPS3, dependent on experience)

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students to achieve their full potential in Modern Foreign Languages.
