Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced sales leader to manage a team of 8 in the trade and MICE sectors. The ideal candidate will be fluent in French and English and have over 7 years in sales, particularly in travel or hospitality. This role offers a base salary of £76,000 plus a performance bonus, generous travel benefits, and flexible working arrangements.

Job description
Your responsibilities will include :

Lead and develop a team of 8 sales professionals across trade and MICE channels.

Drive revenue and market growth through indirect sales (travel agencies, consortia, OTAs) and M&E partners.

Develop and execute innovative sales strategies and performance objectives.

Build strong long-term relationships with trade and MICE partners, negotiating commercials and ensuring profitable agreements.

Oversee MICE sales and event production, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with client expectations.

Collaborate closely with internal marketing, finance, and operations teams to achieve business goals.

About you :

Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written).

Minimum 7 years’ experience in trade / MICE sales, ideally within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.

Proven people management experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Knowledge of e-distribution channels, OTAs, and digital integration tools.

Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally when required.

What’s on offer :

£76,000 base salary + 20% bonus performance based
