Job summary

Play Sports Network in Bath is seeking a Channel Coordinator to own the day-to-day running of GCN en français, publishing and optimizing video content and growing a passionate cycling community. Fluency in French and English is essential and additional languages are a plus; you will work with cross-functional teams across production, design and commercial to shape content strategy.

Based in Bath, this role offers four-day in-office collaboration with opportunities to work across the wider road

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken French and English.
• Additional fluency in Spanish, Italian or German is helpful.
• Interest in cycling and enthusiasm for learning about the sport, equipment and technology.
• Experience using social media platforms personally; professional experience is a plus.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Analytical, curious and proactive, with a willingness to test new ideas.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with a positive sense of humour.
• Willingness to complete YouTube Certification as part of the role.
• Able to work from our Bath office 4 days per week, with relocation if required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of GCN en français, driving audience growth and community engagement.
• Publish engaging content across YouTube and other social media platforms and optimize metadata.
• Analyse performance data and experiment with new platform features.
• Collaborate with production, design and commercial teams to ensure content is delivered effectively.
• Maintain content programming calendars and produce analytics reports.
• Provide cross-channel support during peak periods and holidays.
• Stay up to date with platform developments and audience trends; share best practices.
• Contribute to wider company projects as needed.
• Weekend and occasional out-of-hours work during key races and major events.
