Our amazing Project Logistics team based in Altens, Aberdeenshire have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and customer-focused Freight Forwarding Coordinator where you will support our customers with their specialist import and export transportation needs via air and ocean freight.
This pivotal role will be Monday to Friday, based in our Altens office where you will work alongside an experienced team of freight forwarding professionals.
Reporting to our Project Logistics Operations Manager, you will manage end-to-end multi-modal transport coordination ensuring seamless operational and customer service excellence.
Our ideal candidate will have proven air or ocean freight experience in a multi-modal or freight forwarding environment. You will be a strong communicator, able to form relationships internally and externally, with excellent customer service skills, logical thinking and natural problem-solving abilities, and the ability to prioritise workload with efficiency and accuracy.
You will also have excellent IT skills capable of utilising specialist freight systems (CargoWise) and MS packages such as Outlook and Excel.
This unique team supports clients with out-of-gauge transportation requests within the oil and gas industry. If you have experience in out-of-gauge, heavy haulage, or oil and gas freight forwarding, this could be the perfect role for you.
