We are seeking an ambitious Freight Account Manager to join our flourishing branch at a consistently growing company. This role is a fully remote role working for a Yorkshire based client, ideal for someone with a robust sales background in the freight forwarding industry, eager to make a significant impact in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop external sales with new customers while maintaining existing business relationships.
  • Compile competitive quotes and proposals for new and potential customers.
  • Ensure customer needs are met effectively, monitored regularly, and accounts are managed proficiently.
  • Ensure all bookings and transactions are made in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven knowledge and experience in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Previous experience as a Freight Account Manager or Business Development Manager within freight forwarding is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements in the freight forwarding sector.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders.
