Summary

Drive peak freezer performance by ensuring smooth, efficient operations with minimal downtime through expert preparation, organization, and teamwork.

The Role

Reporting to the Process Leader, the Freezer Process Technician is a highly motivated and hard‑working individual whose main objective is to keep the freezer running at optimum efficiencies, with minimal downtime through effective preparation and organization.

Shift Details: Afternoon Shift Monday to Thursday 13:45 - 22:00 & Fridays 12:30 - 19:30

Pay Rate: £13.20

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Set up the line ready to start at the beginning of shift.
  • Report any equipment that is not operating to the required standard or breakdowns to the process leader or engineering team as soon as possible.
  • Assemble VMAG for production and disassemble VMAG for hygiene.
  • Carry out swift product changeovers through preparation, organisation and forward planning of equipment.
  • Be accountable for safety, hygiene, quality, food safety and cost issues.
  • Manage the bulking off operations including accountability of personnel.
  • Inform the Process Leader of any issues preventing the production plan from being achieved for the shift.
  • Carry out production quality checks and metal detector checks at regular intervals.
  • Communicate with the Cold Store Process Technician to ensure no cross contamination.
