Job summary

Premium Linguistic Services (PLS) is seeking freelance Romanian interpreters for Face-to-Face assignments in Bristol and surrounding areas. No formal interpreting qualification is required, and you can join our flexible freelance network to work on opportunities as they arise.

You will interpret conversations clearly, accurately and impartially, attending appointments in person while maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• A formal interpreting qualification is not required.
• We welcome both qualified and non-qualified applicants.
• Strong language and communication skills are essential for successful interpretation.
• Right to Work in the UK and a valid DBS are advantageous for assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, accurate and impartial face-to-face interpretation in Bristol and surrounding areas.

Premium Linguistic Services (PLS) is looking for friendly, reliable and professional freelance interpreters to provide Face-to-Face interpreting services in Bristol and surrounding areas.

Whether you are an experienced interpreter or looking to use your language skills professionally, we would be delighted to hear from you.

No formal interpreting qualification? You can still apply.

As a Freelance Face-to-Face Interpreter, you will help bridge language barriers by enabling clear communication between people who do not share the same language.

You will attend appointments in person and interpret conversations accurately, clearly and impartially.

Assignments may take place in a variety of professional and community settings, giving you the opportunity to meet different people and use your language skills where they are genuinely needed.

This is a flexible freelance role, so you can accept assignments based on your availability.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

A formal interpreting qualification is not required.

We welcome both qualified and non-qualified applicants. Previous interpreting experience or a relevant qualification is an advantage, but it is not essential.

• Are willing and able to travel locally for assignments
• Have the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one – a valid DBS is mandatory and must be in place before undertaking any assignments with PLS.
