Job summary

Rutronik Racing is seeking a freelance truck driver and tyre mechanic to support events at race venues. You will transport the truck to events, prep and inspect the vehicle, load and unload equipment, and coordinate tyre handling with the logistics and engineering teams.

The role involves on-site work at racetracks, weekend shifts, and responsibilities for tyre preparation, storage, and maintenance. Fluent English and German are preferred, and reliability is essential for timely event readiness.

Responsibilities

• Transportation of the truck to scheduled events
• Preparation and follow-up of the truck in the workshop and on-site at the racetrack
• Loading and unloading of equipment at the workshop and at the racetrack
• Coordination and handling of tyres
• Management of tyre equipment, loading the truck in preparation for events at the workshop in coordination with the logistics team
• Unloading the equipment at the racetrack and returning it to the workshop after the events
• Transporting the truck to various team events (race weekends, track days and other assignments as agreed)
• Accurate documentation and inspection of the vehicle before departure
• Preparation of race tyres for scheduled use
• Correct storage and documentation of tyres
• Cleaning and maintenance of tyres and rims
• Setting of specified tyre pressures in coordination with the engineering team
• Preparation and maintenance of tyre equipment
• Collaboration with the tyre supplier at the racetrack
• Timely preparation of race tyres at the racetrack
