Due to an increase in demand, we are currently looking for bilingual/multilingual individuals to join our Face-to-Face freelance interpreting team. With increased demand for interpreters, this is a great opportunity to start or build on your career within the industry.

About the Role

As a Court/Police Interpreter, you will play a vital role in ensuring clear and accurate communication between law enforcement personnel and individuals with limited English proficiency during interviews, investigations, custody procedures, and community interactions.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Do you speak English and the advertised language fluently?
  • Do you have interpreting experience as a volunteer or as a professional, whether this is within a professional environment or helping family and friends?
  • Are you looking for flexible working opportunities?

Basic Requirements
  • Right to Work
  • Fluency in English and the advertised language up to C1 level
  • 100 hours interpreting experience – either as a professional, Friends and Family or through voluntary work
  • Valid Security Clearance (or willing to apply for one).
