Job summary

Dals is seeking freelance interpreters in the United Kingdom who can interpret live conversations between clients and non-English speakers. You will support medical, legal, social services, and public sector settings, ensuring accurate, confidential, and culturally sensitive interpretation.

As a self-employed contractor, you choose your hours, travel distance, and assignments to fit your lifestyle. Applicants should be fluent in English and at least one listed language and have the right to work

We’re looking for Interpreters to join our growing community at Dals!

Means you will be registered with us on a self-employed basis and can decide your hours of work, travel distance and number of assignments you take to suit your lifestyle.

As a freelance interpreter, you will attend appointments in person to support our clients and their non-English speaking service users. You’ll help bridge communication gaps in essential settings like healthcare, legal, and public services—making every conversation count.

Ensure accurate, confidential, and culturally sensitive interpretation.

Use our interpreting app to manage your availability and assignments.

Deliver excellent service that empowers people to access vital services.

• Fluency in English and Arabic / Arabic Sudanese, Polish, Farsi (Persian), Pashto, Somali, Bengali, Kurdish / Kurdish‑Sorani
