Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join their client, a tier 1 contractor, for a freelance position on a major project based in Suffolk. The role involves ensuring compliance with construction plans, investigating incidents, identifying training needs, and assisting in the development of Health and Safety documentation. Candidates should have relevant health and safety qualifications and experience in civil engineering/construction. The role offers a competitive pay range of £450 - £550 PAYE Umbrella.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of civil engineering/construction methods.
• Relevant qualifications in health and safety or previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience working on large civil engineering/construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Support and provide information to the site ensuring compliance with all requirements.
• Support investigations of incidents including close calls and near misses on site.
• Identifying training needs.
• Assist in the production of Health and Safety plans and check compliance.
