Job summary

Develop Outdoors CIC is seeking a creative Hair, Beauty & Creative Industries Tutor to deliver vocational learning to small groups of young people aged 11-16. The role is freelance, 1–2 days per week in Newhaven, East Sussex, with potential to increase days and develop programmes.

You will bring practical industry experience, engage learners, and help them gain confidence and employability skills through practical activities, projects and industry insights.

Qualifications

• Practical experience within hair and/or beauty industry is essential.
• Ability to engage and motivate young people in small groups.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and professional practice.
• Enthusiasm for helping young people develop confidence and positive futures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver vocational learning programmes to small groups of learners aged 11–16.
